American Gladiators
This is a departure for b00mb0x, one mixer vs another. Two b00mb0x heavyweights slug it out. Brought to you by Briscoe and LeMont Blanc.

Thanks guy svery much for the comments. LeMont and I decided to challenge ourselves to come up with hip hop tracks from our collections that were 4/4 beats , to mix live. Lemont's set is the first and mine starts @ Sunz Of Man. I was very impressed with his selection (esp. Jazzy Jeff and Slum Village). I hope you find this different than normal hip hop sets, because it was a fun challenge.

Yes, it was certainly a good challenge. It was actually rather difficult on my end, because my collection was dramatically shortened about a year and a half ago. Makes finding hip hop with 4/4 beats that much more difficult.
As for Briscoe's half, I was excited to hear De La Soul, into ODB, and into BEP. Those three tracks fit together so nicely, and made me realize how cool this collaboration is. Not sure how often we'd be able to do this, but it was certainly fun.

Not a bad place to be. Also, Punk Funk puts b00mb0x in place with a naughty goth and Rick James. Yowza!
