November 11, 2004 - Pass the Parcel

Here's how it works, if this even works ...

I've posted a tune below, Its Nowhere fast by Fire Inc. The idea is that the next guy comes along and adds something to it, its reuploaded, the next mixer adds something to it and so on and so on until we hit 72 mins. This will either suck beyond belief or be totally awesoem mang.

Part 4

Part 5

Question:
When do we downshift to 160kbps and/or 128kbps? I realize there's a 60Mb filesize limit, so I was thinking (and you know that's not necessarily a good thing) that when a file hits say 50Mb, the next mixer will downgrade the sampling of their mix to the next lower setting (or take it all the way down to 128kbps).

I'm liking everything so far (up to Part 4 now). I think this is gonna turn out pretty good!

Part 5 is uploaded.

This is probably a "predictable" add-on, but it was 1st to come to mind:
Desmond Dekker & the Aces - Israelites:

I get up in the morning slaving for bread sir,
so that every mouth can be fed,
Poor me, Israelites.

Mi wife an' ma kids they pack up an'a leave me,
"darling" she said "I was yours to receive",
Poor me, Israelites.

Cho! shirt dem a tear-up, trousers a go,
I don' wan' to end up like Bonny and Clyde,
Poor me, Israelites.

After a storm there mus' be a calming,
you catch me in your farm, you sound your alarm,
Poor me, Israelites.

I get up in the morning stabbing for bread sir,
so that every mouth can be fed,
Poor me, Israelites.

Mi wife an' ma kids they pack up an'a leave me,
"darling" she said "I was yours to recieve",
Poor me, Israelites.

Cho! shirt dem a tear-up, trousers a go,
I don' wan' to end up like Bonny and Clyde,
Poor me, Israelites.

After a storm there mus' be a calming,
you catch me in your farm, you sound your alarm,
Poor me, Israelites.

NOTE:
-"Darling" she said "I was yours to receive" means she left him because she wasn't getting enough.
-"Like Bonny and Clyde" means "full of holes".
-"I get up in the morning stabbing for bread sir" means that he's taken to a life of crime now to survive.
