November 13, 2004 - Server up

The ftp was down for a good bit of yesterday despite the little green thingie saying it was up. This is just to let you know it's back up again. I try to make the green thingie red when the server goes down, but I wasn't around yesterday. Sorry!

the archive server is down because um... i'm a loser, haven't paid my cable bill and have been out galavanting for nearly a solid week. um, i suck.

high speed mixes, thanks to donations, will be up and reliable for a good while so at least that is a rosey picture.

and i'll pay my stupid cable bill. um, soon. as soon as i get sober. until then, enjoy the new stuff. and hey, you should be listening to awards nominated mixes this month anyways. ;)

Howcum I have two green mixer thingy's side-by-side that show if the server is up or down?
Sometimes they're both green, sometimes one is green and the other is red.

Should I be afraid?

Like right now, the one on the left is red with a down-arrow and the one on the right is green with an up-arrow.

My therapist says it's nothing to be concerned about, but I don't think I can trust him.

one is for the archive (the furthest left) and one is for the fast server

if anyone's having trouble getting stuff from the archive server, say so here. I notice a lot of failures sometimes but I can't know if that's just people start downloads and cancelling or a real problem unless I get told...
