I hope I am not huting any prog. rock fabs out there by cutting any of those songs, this compilation was made for fun, and maybe introduce this kind of music to anyone who will be interested in it. the track selection englobe a wide range of style and period. From 1970 to 2004 to be precise. I hope some of you willing to d/l and listen to this will like some of the tunes and go out there to discover more of it, it may seem difficult at first, but the reward is wekk worth the effort.

Not to worry Dez, there's a wide range of musical interests here in the 'b0x.
Thanks for the great tracklisting . . . this is going to be very interesting!

Don't worry - what attracts me to our little club is the fact that there is no bias towards genre which allows us to turn out more interesting mixes.
As for this one, it was a delightful trip back in time and, as much as Phil Collins deserves his "antichrist" status, you have to say that Genesis's Firth Of Fifth is a beautiful piece of music in it's own right.
Nice!

Cool ... Firth of Fifth is a masterpiece..saw Steve Hackett play it live last year..Awesome..
Interesting this mix has appeared as I am near completion of a Rock mix ..not prog but a heavier feel..the more genres the merrier.

Thx for the comments !it's always welcome to have some feedback about what others think !
It took me a while to select the tracks in order to make something that would seem like a long song, I just regret that I couldn't include some Dream Theater (There was something from them initally planned, but I had to put it aside, it didn't fit very well). And perhaps to introduce the genre to one person. People either love or hate that kind of music, but there are so many varities into it that almost everyone can find something that will suit his taste.
Genesis must be the group I have listen the most, I can't spend a week without plaing my "Selling England by the pound" CD.
By the way, if you're fan of this kind of music, try not to miss "The Musical Box", they reproduce very well the concerts of The best Genesis period (this year, I could attend to a re-creation of "The lamb lies down on broadway", it was amazing).
Now, I'm working on a Queen megamix with lots of unknow songs, it'll take some time to produce something worth posting, but I think I can mangage to come up with something.
Cheers !
PS : if you want more details about the groups/albums inlcuded herein, leave a message, I'll be glad to help.
