August 22, 2005 - Video mixes
Hey there,
In the interest of trying new things, b00mb0x now accepts video mixes. If you want to enter into this time consuming and frustrating process we accept up to 250 MB per video mix in the avi and mpg formats. If two or more mixers make a video mix, it'll be added as a category in this year's awards. If you are familiar with Sony Acid, you can use Sony Vegas for your video content, it works along the same lines.

mmm, nice idea. I never got my head round how to do videos in Vegas 4, but 6 looks a lot easier to play with.
What sort of thing are you thinking? Whole mix sets of videos similar to what the audio mixtapes are like at the moment? Or more like video bootlegs / mashups (even though the site doesn't really do them any more)? Or even stuff that involves no music at all? Or all of the above and a whole lot more besides?

i'd vote for all the above, assuming my comment ends up below mwude's.

My first request for a video is for Riko to make a video for "P-Funk Is Playing At My House" I think that would be cool :-)

basically, what we are doing at the moment but with video ontop of the soudtrack is what I'm thinking of. it's time-consuming, so I'm not sure if people will go for it, but they can if they wish :)
