Basic IRC chatting and file transfering

# 1. Download mirc - go to mirc.co.uk and download the latest version of mirc, install and run the program.

#2. Configuration - go to file > options. type a nickname in the nickname field. add an irc network with the following info: description = b00mb0x, IRC server = b00mb0x.mine.nu, port = 6667. In the irc menu go to perform and type /join #b00mb0x and /vhost boombox host in the field.


#3. Connect and chat - connect to the server using the connect icon in the top left corner. Say hi to the nice people.

#4. Getting a mix from the bot. Type !mixes in the #nusounds window. Accept the dcc chat from the bot named |crazies| (or |b00mb0t|). Type dir in the private chat window. This lists all the mixes. To get a mix type get filename.mp3. To send a mix, go back to the #nusounds window, rightclick |crazies| on the nicklist on the right of the screen, choose dcc> send> choose the file you want to send.
